Essentially, the coaching process takes you from where you are right now on your career path - to where you want to be! Whether your career is 'stuck', or you want to change direction, or even start your own business, coaching will help you discover the best way to kick-start your career. As your Coach, I will help you to navigate around any obstacles which may be blocking your career path, so you get to have the work-life balance you want. Of course, even a coach doesn’t have all the answers, but what I can do is encourage you to look at things from a different perspective, clear out your mental clutter and give you strategies to deal with what is keeping you from moving forward. 

Where does the coaching take place?

Choosing a coach via the internet means that face-to-face coaching is rarely possible due to time and travel restraints. It's simply a matter of logistics, which is why coaching via the telephone is the most practical alternative. Subject only to available diary space, I can schedule telephone coaching sessions for people who require a more personalised approach to their coaching needs. (Each coaching session lasts for approximately 45-50 minutes and costs £30.00 per session). If you are interested, just click on the "Our Services" page on this website to book your telephone coaching session and I will e-mail you to agree a mutually convenient time for our phone call. There is no obligation to book any further sessions - just use me when you need me.

If one-to-one telephone coaching is not your preferred coaching style, then I can always deliver coaching sessions via your e-mail link instead. Many people like drafting e-mails - because they can do it at their leisure and it saves the hassle of attending a face-to-face meeting or scheduling a long telephone session. Also, the process of putting your thoughts and concerns on paper can bring you enormous benefits - not only by the writing process, but also from re-reading and evaluating what comes back to you.

What happens during a session?

I provide a safe, supportive environment for you to deal with the issues on your career path that give you cause for concern. I believe that each of us has the necessary resources within us to achieve whatever we want in life. My role is to increase your self-awareness so that you can start to believe in yourself and recognise your potential for success. I can also offer sound strategies for dealing with any problem areas so that you will steadily grow in confidence and begin to get much more out of your working life.

What if I'm not ready for one-to-one coaching yet?

The truth is that we all have different requirements and some people just may not be ready for telephone or e-mail coaching right off the bat.
